1996 polaris trailblazer 250 2stroke not firing enough maybe please help?

hi ok here are the details it was running fine then my daughter turned it off i went to crank it to put it up an wouldnt hit a lick it has been hard to crank for some time i know its getting gas cause the plug was wet i bought another plug an that didnt work so i installed an electric start because that rope was annoying so whats it doin now it turns over fine compression is good gas is good air is good firing seems weaks also i noticed the head light will not flikr now i tested the light its fine i bypassed the kill switch an it shocked me lol whew! So i b stuk please help i have a multimeter but dont really know how to test a atv thats not running an the electric start is not wired to the 4wheeler at all just starter an battery no other wires are run! please help thanks in advance
